Jasmine is the Physical Education Specialist at Lance Holt School. She has worked across a broad range of schools in the public, independent and Catholic sectors. With a special interest in primary teaching and physical education, Jasmine has developed programs to engage students in their learning.
Jasmine has also been employed as a lecturer at UWA Crawley and Albany in the Masters of Education, Health and Physical Education degree. With adaptability, resourcefulness and creativity, Jasmine seeks to introduce the students to a wide selection of different sport and movement experiences to enhance their feelings towards being physical in everyday life.
“My aim is to support children through physical development in a cooperative environment rather than competitive. My hope that is that children feel confident about what their bodies can do in a safe space and their attitudes lead them to lifelong health and wellbeing.”
We acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land on which we work, live, learn and play, the Whadjuk Nyungar. We recognise their traditional and continuous connection to the land and water and pay our respects to their elders past, present and emerging.
