Lance Holt is holding a Food and Mood Online Workshop for parents. Nutritionist and Naturopath Bobbie MacPhail (www.bobbiemcphail.com) will provide a workshop to parents about the connection between food and how we think and feel.
Childhood and adolescence is an important time to establish healthy eating habits. It is a great opportunity to learn about the influence our food choices have on how we think and feel. This is a critical window of development in a child’s life. During this time many common mood disorders emerge for the first time and can be long lasting. Happily, there is good evidence to suggest that eating a healthy, good quality diet can be protective. It can reduce the chances of developing a mood disorder over a lifetime. In this workshop we will learn how to properly fuel our kids’ brain and body. This will support their performance, health and general well being. This workshop is for parents of toddlers, children or teenagers or for anyone who wants to learn about the influence our food choices have on how we think and feel.
A Zoom link will be sent out on the day to parents to join online.
