Meredith is acting PE Teacher covering a long service leave for Term 2. She is also the teacher representative on the Sustainability Committee.
With her keen sense of fun and an ability to see the potential to learn from any situation, Meredith teaches children to believe in their own strengths and abilities, while at the same time assisting them to overcome challenges they may face.
Meredith is passionate about creating a culture of environmental sustainability within the greater school community, and encouraging more children to follow science pathways throughout their schooling.
“Lance Holt School is a progressive school that is really open to ideas and suggestions by staff, students and children. It encourages teachers to take initiative and allows for them to follow their passions. It’s a place where I know I’ll be supported, both professionally and privately, and the people – teachers, parents and kids – all truly care about each other.”
We acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land on which we work, live, learn and play, the Whadjuk Nyungar. We recognise their traditional and continuous connection to the land and water and pay our respects to their elders past, present and emerging.
