Claudia Rault

Claudia is the Education Assistant working in the early years classrooms.

Alongside being a part of the wonderful Lance Holt community as a parent, I am privileged to learn alongside and nurture the magnificent children of LH in my role as an Education Assistant in the kindergarten and prindy classrooms.

My pedagogical views embody a strong image of children as citizens with rights, and agency who are capable, respected, and active participants in their own learning. I am deeply passionate about inclusive learning, where each child’s unique and spectacular identities are welcomed and celebrated!

Encompassing child-led inquiry at the centre of my approach. I advocate for children to search for and acquire knowledge through their own inquiry and play based investigations. I believe that learning and play are not separate, play provides a context of learning which allows children to create and explore a world in which they can master, developing skills and dispositions that nurture, affirm and respect the many different ways in which our wonderful children learn and play.
